3D Artist / Architectural Visualisation Specialist

Joining our growing visualisation team, you’ll be responsible for creating beautiful high-quality visual representations that brings our landscape, urban design and architecture designs to life.

Applying both creative and technical skills, you’ll visualise complex spatial arrangements in a compelling way through the use of 3D digital media. Working collaboratively on design solutions you’ll show the flair and artistic vision that allows you to put your own creative spin on work and helps take our 3D rendering and presentations to the next level.

Specifically, you’ll

  • Produce evocative and rich imagery, top quality, photo-realistic or artistic stills
  • Manage your own projects in their entirety from brief to delivery
  • Create compelling animations and videos as well as 3D digital (face and solid) models
  • Develop high-end pristine concept design renders for a wide variety of design projects
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of exciting and innovative design solutions
  • Help us grow our digital capabilities and the way in which we present our designs in new, stunning and bold ways
  • Have an opportunity for growth in a team that’s pushing into leading-edge technology and VR

Is this you?

  • 5+ years in a design, digital or related industry
  • A blend of technical and creative skills, with a finely tuned design eye focus on producing work of the highest quality
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D S Max and V-Ray
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite including high-end Photoshop retouching
  • Nice to haves include Autodesk Civil 3D, video editing or ArchiCAD
  • Bonus points if you have a knowledge of interactive/digital technologies and presentation techniques
  • You might have a background in architecture, landscape or urban design but we’re equally open to someone excited to apply 3D skills to a new industry
  • A desire to work on meaningful and significant projects across New Zealand + be part of a team seeking to push boundaries

Senior Architect

Help us conceive and bring to life extraordinary ideas and innovative solutions that are human-centred, technically astute, efficient and sustainable.

You’ll be:

  • Leading a diverse range of inspiring and impactful projects including intensive residential, housing and houses, community and civic buildings and masterplans
  • Applying the breadth of your skills across a project leadership role where your creativity and technical ability will come to the fore through the entire life of a project
  • A leader within our studio as you cultivate innovation, people and projects
  • Helping to grow our practice with design-led and technically innovative solutions

You’ll have:

  • 7+ years’ experience ideally across residential, commercial, civic and mixed used projects
  • Design-led conceptual thinking coupled with a drive for excellence, innovation and creativity
  • Good grounding across all facets of project design including client management through to contract admin and delivering projects to the ground
  • Excitement about collaborating within our “no boundaries” design environment
  • A prominent voice in the studio helping to take our architecture practice to new heights
  • Excellent technical skills across construction techniques & documentation software (ideally including Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD)

Senior Urban Designer

Help us lead the way in designing solutions that grow places, neighbourhoods and healthy communities.

Here’s the role:

  • Drive innovation and delivery of award-winning, impactful solutions that extend and enrich places, people and communities
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and deliver a range of innovative greenfields and brownfields projects, town centres, residential and mixed-use masterplans
  • Manage feasibility analysis and budgeting through to delivery and production of detailed design and construction drawings to consent and build
  • Lead client engagements and work closely with developers, council, engineers and consultants

Do you have?:

  • Strategic design skills in urban design and residential master planning with a passion for placemaking and building healthy communities
  • The ability to think big picture and then dive down into the detail and pull it all together to achieve a vision
  • Effective leadership across clients, projects and teams with a drive for excellence and innovation
  • Skilled in a range of design tools and methodologies, including design production using Adobe Suite and Autocad
  • Sound knowledge of the NZ consent environment
  • Ideally, a first degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or Urban Design

Urban Designer

Are you an inspiring urban designer hungry to join us in the design of innovative projects that influence the way people live, work and play?

Here’s the role

You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team working across a variety of high impact urban design projects of all scales, including masterplans, town centre and neighbourhood regenerations, that inform the way people live, work and play.

You’ll build your technical, production and design skills and experience while applying a fresh approach to design. Working closely with a team of talented and supportive designers, you will deliver excellent graphics and technical deliverables across a broad range of projects with lots of opportunities to develop your broader design and delivery skills as your talents flourish.

Is this you?

  • Inquisitive about the world around you with a passion for engaging communities, design, innovation and creativity in urbanism and beyond
  • You’ll show a history of achievement and leadership in your work, study and other areas of your life
  • A proactive attitude: you grab opportunities to chart your own course
  • You love to share ideas, learn and collaborate
  • Knowledge of a range of urban design and/or landscape architectural design tools and methodologies
  • Good command of Adobe Suite and AutoCAD
  • Bachelor or Masters in Landscape Architecture, Architecture and/or Urban Design
