Here's the role:

  • Working across a diverse range of inspiring and impactful projects including high-end high-density • You'll be working across a diverse range of inspiring new projects from public realm, open space, streetscapes, residential and other environmental and civic works
  • You'll be an important contributor within our award-winning studio, helping to lead innovation, people and projects
  • You'll deliver design-led and impactful solutions and design of places that inspire and endure

You'll have:

  • 5+ years' experience and a strong working knowledge of a range of landscape architectural tools and methodologies
  • Ideally you'll have a breadth of skills, working from developed design and ability to effectively lead and manage projects and clients 
  • Strong design-led thinking coupled with a drive for excellence, innovation, and doing things differently
  • A proactive attitude: you'll grab opportunities to chart your own course
  • Excitement about working in shades of grey and the opportunity to collaborate within our "no boundaries" design environment

GIS Specialist - Auckland

Heres the role:

As our GIS Specialist you'll apply analytical geospatial services and help us inform and present better, evidence-based design decisions across our architecture, landscape and urban design projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively across our multidisciplinary groups, and look for opportunities to incorporate GIS into projects and our design-process.
Working on infrastructure projects, through to masterplans, land analysis, typology to urban analysis and everything in between, you'll have the chance to create real impact in your work across a huge variety of projects of all scales.

Specifically you'll:

  • Work collaboratively across the team to educate on GIS and identify analysis and spatial opportunities on projects
  • Provide GIS data based mapping and analysis services
  • Collect, compile, or integrate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) field data
  • Create, analyse and convert data to produce and visualise maps, layers and other complex datasets to transform them into high-quality design outputs
  • Integrate GIS technology with urban design / landscape architecture / architectural principles
  • Present information via print and interactive web based GIS delivery platforms


Is this you?


  • 5+ years experience demonstrating advanced skills in web and mobile GIS
  • An understanding of interactive technology with the ability to develop and manage web mapping applications
  • Proficiency in the use of ESRI suite of products with advanced knowledge of ArcGIS or ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, and City Engine would also be helpful
  • Skilled in data visualization with an ability to produce high quality cartographic outputs
  • Keen analytical mind with the ability to convert technical concepts into plain language
  • Strong team player who loves to collaborate with others to get great outcomes
  • Passionate about growing GIS understanding and capability
  • Ideally a background in urban design / landscape architectural principles and how GIS technology can be integrated
